Today I looked at the BitMessage project again to see if it has matured. And it sure has!

This is a really interesting project with good spam defenses, unspoofable sender, encrypted messages and if you like to, anonymous senders and receivers.

This is what we need. Encrypted and secure by default.

It’s still not ready for the general public due to installation errors and heavy CPU usage. Someone at Reddit made an .app for OS X and it work fine for me.
